Artist Statement

I have always needed to self express myself and the images on this site reflect my ability to do so. During the last 4 years I have had various artwork published from charity magazines, to online publications, and displaying in bars and cafes, here in London, but also my home town 'Sheffield'/Bakewell. I had my first solo art show in 2007 'Hidden Secrets', I also exhibited artwork in 'Rush Bar' in Soho for the summer of 2008. In 2009 I sold work that was displayed in a pub in Chiswick and also took part in a group photography exhibition in Covent Garden. My biggest experience was having a poster on the underground at Stockwell Tube Station in Dec 09. ( Hence this site ) I also took part in a group show in Cafe 1001 Brick Lane in April 10, also had an Art Stall at Primrose Hill Fete in May 10, I sold in both of these locations. My recent ventures has been displaying work in 'Destiny Bar' in Herne Hill in June/July 10. At the moment I have artwork for sale in 'First Out Cafe' in Soho, London, which is on from 8th August - September 4th 2010.

My work is based upon life changing experiences that feed my thoughts & grow into art forms. These ideas create a range of intense, inspiring, moving, raw & powerful pieces of contemporary visual art.

I work with canvas, paper, photographs & digital media, as well as other materials that I feel really manifest my thoughts.
